About Us

As a pioneering renewable energy project, Noor Energy 1 is the fourth phase of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, with a total capacity of 950MW. Developed by a consortium led by ACWA Power, DEWA, and Silk Road Fund, it is the largest single-site Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) plant in the world.

By utilizing Central Tower, Parabolic Trough, and Photovoltaic technologies, Noor Energy 1 ensures continuous, round-the-clock power generation, reducing 1.6 million tons of CO₂ emissions annually and providing clean energy to over 320,000 homes.

This project supports the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050, reinforcing the UAE’s commitment to sustainability, energy security, and carbon reduction while setting new benchmarks for renewable energy innovation.
