The Noor Energy 1 management team recently embarked on a successful journey to Paris and London, engaging with key stakeholders and collaborators who are crucial to driving the energy transition forward. In Paris, the team met with esteemed partners such as Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking and Allianz France, celebrating shared efforts toward advancing the energy transition. Productive discussions highlighted the importance of a pragmatic and collaborative approach to achieving common goals in this transformative journey. The team then traveled to London for an insightful gathering with partners from Herbert Smith Freehills. Conversations focused on risk management and market fundamentals, exploring strategies to navigate the complexities of the energy industry. A special thanks was extended to the ACWA Power and Marsh teams for their unwavering support, ensuring the success of this impactful journey. This collaboration reinforces Noor Energy 1’s commitment to building partnerships and driving the collective efforts required to power a sustainable future.

Noor Energy 1, the world’s largest single-site hybrid solar plant, continues to set new standards for sustainable energy. Located within Dubai’s Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, the project contributes to the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy through its shareholder, Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA). Recently, the Noor Energy 1 team concluded a successful week in China, engaging with key stakeholders, including ACWA Power’s China office and the Silk Road Fund, as well as leading financial and insurance partners such as Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Ping An Bank, Bank of Communications, and Ping An Insurance. The visit also included productive discussions with contractor Shanghai Electric Power Generation Engineering Company. The week’s interactions reinforced the shared commitment of UAE, Saudi Arabia, and China to drive growth, innovation, and sustainability. The collaboration of these dedicated partners is what sets Noor Energy 1 apart, making it not just a groundbreaking energy project, but a global benchmark for sustainable development and international cooperation. Together, we are shaping a cleaner, more resilient energy future.

Noor Energy 1 had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Hischam El-Agamy and a group of MBA students from IMD at the world’s largest concentrated solar power plant. The visit provided a platform to showcase the project’s cutting-edge technology and innovative approach to sustainable energy. The students engaged in in-depth discussions on the future of renewable energy and its role in addressing global challenges. Noor Energy 1 remains committed to fostering knowledge exchange and inspiring future leaders in the energy sector through hands-on learning experiences.

At the Dubai Forum held at the Chinese Consulate in Dubai, Noor Energy 1’s Executive Managing Director, Omar Alhassan, participated in a discussion on the project’s role in advancing the UAE’s renewable energy ambitions. The forum provided a platform to emphasize the impact of Noor Energy 1 in supporting sustainable development and fostering international collaboration in the energy sector.Noor Energy 1 remains committed to delivering innovative energy solutions that contribute to the region’s clean energy transition.

Noor Energy 1 had the privilege of hosting 50 delegates for an exclusive site tour as part of the Marsh EIC event. As the holder of two Guinness World Records in concentrated solar power (CSP), Noor Energy 1 continues to set new benchmarks in renewable energy.

The visit provided delegates with firsthand insight into how the project is generating firm renewable power in the UAE. The experience left a lasting impression, reinforcing Noor Energy 1’s role as a global leader in sustainable energy solutions.
