Noor Energy 1 highlighted in the EXPO 2020 Dubai
1st December, 2021 - Dubai, UAE: the "Shanghai Electric Day" with the theme of "Low-Carbon Development, Meet the Future" was held in China Pavilion at EXPO 2020 Dubai. As the Owner of the 700MW CSP + 250MW PV hybrid plant, Noor Energy 1 (NE1) Executive Managing Director Mr. Abdulhameed Al Muhaidib attended the event.
In the event, Mr. Abdulhameed gave greetings with the attendants on the coming 50th UAE National Day. His speech was given with highlights on the effort taken by Noor Energy 1 and all the partners as the response and full commitment to the U.A.E energy strategy 2050. Referring to the speech given by the President of China Mr. Xi Jinping in the COP 26 in Glasgow, the green transition accelerations is highlighted in terms of needs and importance. As the EPC partner in the NE1 project, Mr. Abdulhameed appreciated the Shanghai Electric’s contribution to the energy transition.

Some charge from contractors and banking institutions attended the meeting.
